What is modular pricing?

Modular pricing advertises a low base price for the core system and charges separately for the pieces most dealers actually need.

It is a legitimate model, and it lets a very small lot start cheap. The trap is comparing an entry price against another vendor's all-in price.

Price the stack you would really run: the DMS plus accounting, CRM, any book-value feed, and per-use fees like electronic contracting. Then compare totals.
