What is as is?
As is means the vehicle is sold with no dealer warranty, and the buyer pays for anything that breaks after the sale.
It must be disclosed on the Buyers Guide. A few states restrict or forbid as-is retail sales, so this is one to confirm locally rather than assume.
As is is not a shield against everything. It does not cover misrepresentation, odometer tampering, or a failure to disclose a branded title.
