Inventory and recon
What is frontline ready?
A vehicle is frontline ready when recon is finished, photos are taken, and it is priced and listed for retail sale.
The clock a dealer should watch is acquisition to frontline. Industry practice treats a few days as good and anything past a week as a problem, because a car cannot sell while it is behind the shop.
Photos are part of it. A car that is mechanically ready but unlisted is invisible, and invisible inventory ages exactly as fast as the rest.
